Barclays Premier League - Manchester united beat West Bromwich 4-0

With this win Manchester united move into the Top 4 position.

Wayne Rooney was the behind for United's win, Rooney as his fine and recent form by scoring the first and creating two further goals for Cristiano Ronaldo and substitute Nani.

Rooney & Ronaldo was forced a little too wide and his shot was well blocked. As the first half drew to a conclusion, United had a penalty shout turned down by Halsey when the ball accidentally struck Paul Robinson on the arm in the box.

West Brom rarely made it out of their own half and Edwin van der Sar in the United goal had little to do all evening long until he was finally tested by substitute - and former Manchester City player - Ishmael Miller as time ran out.

By this superb performance by Manchester United the message have been clear send out to other Premier League title rivals champions.
